Our CompanyWho We ArePC Board Analyst is an 18 year old company. It is our goal to assist companies who use printed circuit boards in their products, to buy the highest quality boards for those products, thus insuring their company's success. Often very little concern is given to the bare circuit board, however the bare board is the host and is where the product's final design and ideas take shape. PC Board Analyst takes pride in providing quick turn quality board analysis at affordable rates. We are often used as the quality assurance department by many of our customers where they have sample board lots sent directly from the fabrication house to us. Consequently, when the boards arrive for the component stuffing process, our analysis report is available to determine if the board is suitable for the assembly process. What We DoThe ability to know internal board quality prior to component assembly is critical in today's rapid product development. To assume board quality without any understanding of specification conformance can quickly turn a promising project opportuntity into a project nightmare. The printed circuit is the host or most important component in all electronic devices. All quality starts with the printed circuit board. Unfortunately this important component receives little or no attention. Many times companies spend thousands of dollars to certify components on the P.C.B. but none on the board itself. Many critical steps must be performed during the manufacturing process to assure high quality printed circuit boards. Knowing your suppliers ability and not exceeding it is one of the first places to start. Vendor surveys provide the first opening to a vendor's board operation. Process ability starts in the front office. Quality must be number one. All phases of production must express quality. Just as quality must be throughout the production process so must quality be in the finished product. Many quality steps can be instituted during the manufacturing process to help insure quality, but the only way to guarantee overall quality is to evaluate the finished product. This is accomplished by doing a cross-sectional analysis. This process entails measuring and examining all portions of the board. Laminate, soldering, and processing involved with all steps are evaluated. All board specifications are measured amd verified. Tests to insure quality are performed to check for conformance to industry standards. With the job required of the printed circuit board it is very important to know that the board is indeed built to your design requirements. |
